It is no secret that Donna and Harvey have a special connection. If they had come to the firm, one morning, and announced that they are in a relationship, no one would raise an eyebrow. But, the question was whether Harvey loved Donna or not. The penultimate episode of “Suits” Season 4 has answered that question in the final scene. Harvey told a speechless Donna that he loves her and that is why it hurts when it looks like she does not have faith in him.

Donna was in real trouble in episode 15 of “Suits” Season 4, “Intent.” There was a real possibility of her going to jail if Harvey had not fixed things. At the beginning of the episode, Donna found Harvey waiting for her in front of her apartment building. He had found out that she had stolen a document from Liberty Rail’s file room to help Mike. In the previous episode, Evan had informed him about the video she has that shows Donna in her client’s file room. She had told him that she is sending the evidence to the DA office.

In her defence, Donna said to Harvey that she did not tell a lie to pick the document, just led them on. Harvey was furious and told her that she has landed in a load of “sh--.” He later went to Mike’s place and told him to drop the case against Liberty Rail, as it is Donna, and he does not want to hear anything against it. Evan, however, refused to accept his deal and drop her complaint against Donna. Harvey soon found out that the district attorney Wolf was going after Donna with felony fraud charge, as she made the woman at Liberty Rail believe that she is from national transportation safety Board (NTSB).

Harvey failed to stop Wolf from coming after Donna even after telling Evan that she would have to reveal the content of the controversial document in the court, if they go ahead with the felony fraud case. Wolf charged Donna with ‘intent to felony fraud’, and charging someone with 'intent' was happening for the first time in the history of the DA office.

Louis said that he would fight Donna’s case, as Wolf wanted to hurt Harvey and that is why he was going after his secretary. Harvey refused to take a step back and let Louis fight Donna’s case. Donna, too, stuck to Harvey. However, when she saw Wolf and Harvey going after each other in the court room, she told Harvey that may be Louis should be fighting her case. She also said to him that she was pretrified. Harvey shut her up and told her he will never let anything happen to her. He went ahead and fixed it by making Evan back out. He threatened to reveal that she paid the whistle-blower to keep quiet. Evan was surprised that Harvey would drop the case against Liberty Rail to protect his secretary.

Later at the end of the episode, at Donna’s place, she told Harvey that she is sorry for doubting him. Harvey told her that he can take anyone else losing faith in him, not her. Donna demanded to know why and Harvey finally told her that because he loves her. Harvey said to Donna, "You know I love you, Donna." He opened the door and stepped outside, leaving behind a speechless Donna.
