“Stranger Things” breakout star Millie Bobby Brown has shaved her hair to reprise her role on Netflix’s thriller series. The 12-year-old actress shared a video as she gave up her brunette locks to don her character Eleven’s physical looks.

Brown posted on Twitter to share the moment of her epic haircut with a time-lapse video featuring Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts” song.

"Here it is!! The video of me getting my hair shaved for #StrangerThings. Enjoy! #buzzed," Brown tweeted along with the video.

The British 12-year-old actress has been recognised for her portrayal of a traumatised psychokinetic girl in “Stranger Things.”

“Stranger Things” is a Netflix-original thriller drama set in the ‘80s. The story revolves around the search of Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) of her 12-year-old son, Will, who goes missing. As Byers launches the investigation with Police Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour), they all unravel a series of mysteries involving secret government experiments, unsettling supernatural forces, and an unusual little girl named Eleven (Millie Brown).

To date, Netflix hasn’t officially announced giving “Stranger Things” its second season, however, showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer already have in mind what a second season would look like.

"We wanted to feel like a big movie, so we wanted to solve that main tension of where Will went and what happened to him," Matt told reporters during the summer Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour presentation.

"But then there's the bigger mythology behind what happened, so there's definitely a lot of dangling threads at the end…if people wanted it and Netflix wanted it, we could explore it and continue the storyline."

As it is, Millie Brown is all set to prepare for her role as Eleven. Although the young lady was reluctant to give up her locks at first, directing duo Matt and Ross Duffer convinced Brown with a photo of Charlize Theron as Furiosa on the movie “Mad Max: Fury Road.”

“(We asked) ‘Charlize looks totally badass, right?’” the brothers said. “Millie agreed; Charlize looked badass. And that was it: She agreed to buzz it all off.”

As much as Brown is excited with her new haircut, fans can hardly wait for “Stranger Things” sequel to premiere on Netflix US.
