There’s still a lot of waiting to be done before the fans can see “Star Wars: Episode 9,” but cast member Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) is keeping everyone on their toes. The actor often engages with the fans on social media, and he recently teased the first word of the title of the upcoming film.

Hamill has teased the first word of the title on Twitter [see below]. The fans can’t get much about what the title of the film is because the word that Hamill teased is “The.” He promised to reveal the full title, or at least comment on it when it is announced, with the words “to be continued” in the same post.

The word was enough to get the fans excited about the next film, with several of them guessing the other words of the title in response to Hamill’s tweet. Some of the titles that have been suggested are “The Unifying Force,” and “The Last Jedi was a Dream.”

Some of the fans still appear to be recovering from the trauma caused by “The Last Jedi,” which featured the death of their beloved character. Some fans also pointed out that Luke had absolutely no dialogues in “The Force Awakens,” a film in which the character only had a cameo appearance in the end.

Filming of the movie is currently underway at Pinewood Studios. The producers are yet to reveal the plot and the setting of the film. It remains to be seen if there is a time jump in the next film or if it will be a continuation just like “The Last Jedi” was.

“Star Wars: Episode 9” is set to be released on Dec. 20, 2019 in the US. The producers are yet to announce the release date for Australia. The film is being directed by JJ Abrams.
