The wall-crawling superhero will be getting a new suit in “Spider-Man: Far from Home.” The film is set after the sad events in “Infinity War,” and the costume appears to be a step back.

Tom Holland revealed his new costume in a guest appearance in “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show. A video posted on the YouTube channel of the show gives the fans the first official look at the complete new costume of the superhero.

The video jokingly gets Guillermo to “steal” the Spider-Man mask of Holland and pretend to be the superhero. Holland then appears personally to get his mask back, and his appearance surprises the audience.

Holland got his mask back, even though it now smells of tequila. Before Kimmel could get any spoilers about the film, the actor ran out of there by saying that Thanos (Josh Brolin) is robbing a bank. The Mad Titan is apparently poor, and needs to rob a bank.

The costume looks very much like the one Holland wore for the first movie. It appears to be the original suit from the first movie, and not the Iron suit that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) gave him, the one seen in “Infinity War.”

What exactly happened after “Infinity War”? Why is Peter Parker using the old suit? How did he come back to life? The fans will have to wait and watch the film to find out for sure.

The plot of the film is set after the untitled “Avengers 4” film. Peter and his friends will go on summer vacation to Europe in the film, and there they will have to fight the new villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal).

“Spider-Man: Far from Home” is being directed by Jon Watts. The film is set to be released on July 5, 2019 in the US. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date for Australia.
