The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 was released in January this year and even before the year comes to an end, we have come cross the specifications of its successor model. Gizmobic has recently added the benchmark test results of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 on the GFXBench database.

According to GFXBench listing made available by Gizmobic, the handset has been listed as Samsung SM-G7200. The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 has 5.25-inch TFT display screen but the successor model will come housed with a bigger 5.5-inch display and it supports a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.

The purported Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 features a Snapdragon 410 SoC which contains a quad-core processor which is capable of producing a speed of 1.2 GHz along with Adreno 306 graphics. The handset features a 1.5 GB of RAM. The predecessor came with Snapdragon 400 chipset and also featured 1.5 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Grand 3 will come with an upgraded front-facing camera of 5 MP. According to GSMArena, it is a selfie camera that is also available on the Grand Prime handset. The rear camera of the alleged handset features 13 MP camera and comes with features like autofocus, flash and touch focus. Both the cameras can shoot 1080p full HD videos. The predecessor model came with 1.9 MP front camera and the rear camera is of 8 MP.

The Galaxy Grand 3 will support only one SIM card and will come loaded with Android v4.4.4 KitKat along with TouchWiz UI from Samsung. The internal storage of the device is 12 GB. It comes with usual connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. It does not feature NFC.

As of now, only the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 SM-G7200 are known. There are no details on when the handset will arrive in the market. However, GSMArena claims that the Grand 3 has already received Bluetooth 4.0 compliance which means that the handset can arrive in a few weeks time.
