GQ Magazine has shared a funny video of Ryan Reynolds failing to assemble an IKEA HENSVIK baby crib. In the video, GQ cover star Reynolds illustrates the typical struggles of a person who sets up new furniture in a hilarious way.

Reynolds, who is now a proud father to his 8-month-old daughter James with wife Blake Lively, declares in the beginning of the video that setting up the IKEA baby crib is easy after looking at the manual. However, Reynolds ends up calling IKEA to ask for assistance in assembling the HENSVIK baby crib.

Reynolds admits that besides the slow descent into alcoholism, he is having a really hard time putting the crib together because of the numerous screws and pieces in the package. “IKEA is Swedish for f***you,” the 38-year-old actor muttered in the video while trying to assemble the new crib.

Reynolds also asks the IKEA operator in the video made for GQ magazine if there is a representative or five who could drop by his place and assemble the crib for him. With no assistance coming from IKEA, Reynolds ends the phone call with the look of disappointment on his face and mutters “a*****es.”

Reynolds finally decides to assemble the baby crib on his own way by using a roll of duct tape to hold the unit together. But on a serious note, Reynolds admitted in the GQ interview that he thinks he became the father he hoped he would be.

“I like being a father. I like having a daughter. I would like to have more kids. You know, it seems to suit me pretty well,” Reynolds shared. Having a child has also changed Reynolds as a person.

Reynolds confessed he became a more forgiving person and started to have more respect for his parents after experiencing waking up in the middle of the night to attend to his daughter’s needs like diaper change or preparing her milk bottle. “Once you have a kid, you just think, like, ‘I can’t believe that another person did all this shit for me, that I’m doing for this person right now!’” Reynolds told GQ.

Aside from fatherhood, Reynolds also talked about starring in the film “Deadpool,” which is scheduled to be released in February 2016, in the GQ interview. Reynolds admitted he loved working on “Deadpool” because it is sort of a dream come true for him.

Reynolds shared he did not plan working on smaller and more semi-independent movie projects. “I’ve done big movies that just absolutely sucked, once they were finally cut together and put up on the big screen. And I’ve done small movies where the same thing can happen. You just never know,” Reynolds explained.

If the film “Green Lantern” had been a success, Reynolds revealed that he does not “give a rusty f**k” whether it will be a good thing or a bad thing for him. “If I had to do it all again, I’d do the exact same thing,” Reynolds stated.
