Looks like it would be Edward turning into a BDSM billionaire if Robert Pattinson took on the role of Christian Grey.

Robert Pattinson has been thrown back into the list of contenders for the role of Christian Grey. He was the first choice of "Fifty Shades Trilogy" author EL James to play the sexy, billionaire Christian Grey but the producers of the movie thought otherwise as their first pick was "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam.

Fans were not eager of the casting and many had different reactions on the choice of actors that were chosen to play the lead roles Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

Pattinson wasn't much happy about not being the first pick for the role and he also seems to not want to be part of a huge franchise. Robert Pattinson is known as the vampire "Edward Cullen" in the "Twilight" saga. Pattinson does not want to be part of another franchise where he would not be able to show his acting skills. It is just not the route the actor wants his acting career to follow and so even if he is offered the role of Christian Grey he would definitely turn down the role.

Charlie Hunnam backed out of the movie because he didn't want to be the next "Robert Pattinson" that was followed around by the media invading his personal and private life with Kristen Stewart.

Robert Pattinson does not want the role because it would be another reason for the media to pry into his life. It seems like the producers for the new and upcoming movie would have a hard time getting an actor to play Christian Grey or have they already found him?
