Britney Spears' new single "Perfume" is like breathing fresh air which is unadulterated by those annoying electro beats and overly done dubstep. This new single is from her upcoming album, "Britney Jean." It was previously titled, "Blackout 2.0: It Gets Urbaner and Also More Spearitual and A Little More Personal (Raw)."

Unlike her last single "Work Bitch," Britney lowered the beats per minute for "Perfume."

The song writing and production were done by Sia and Chris Braide and will.i.am handled the additional productions.

The highlight of "Perfume" is Brintey Spears' enchanting voice. The spellbinding vocals in "Perfume" are fantastically complimented by orchestral piano and mild electronic beats. In "Perfume," one can get a glimpse of the young Britney, the Britney we missed all this while.

"Perfume" will be a memorable song as she has released a ballad after a very long time. The emotions in the song are quite genuine as she adds power to the song with her vocals (her highest selling point). Melodically, "Perfume" is rich and soulful.

If Britney's one side is of sexy pop star who creates bouncy dance numbers, her other side is kind of soft that churns out ballads like "Perfume," a sure shot radio-friendly number and an instant pleaser.

Lyrically, "Perfume" is one of the most brilliantly written ballads for Britney. Kudos to the duo, Sia and Chris. It has the right amount of emotions like jealousy, paranoia, suspicion and doubt. The listener will instantly relate to "Perfume," as each one of us has walked down that lane.

Final verdict - "Perfume" is a must listen for all Britney fans!

"Perfume" out on Nov. 5 via iTunes.
