“Revenge” Season 4 is ending the story of Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) on May 10, on ABC. Executive Producer Sunil Nayar said it is time to end the series.

“[“Revenge”] has hit exactly the mark it needed to end. This is the series finale of Revenge that will be airing in a couple weeks,” Sunil Nayar told Entertainment Weekly in a detailed interview. There will be no “Revenge” Season 5 for the avid fans of the series.

“Revenge” co-stars Emily VanCamp and Gabriel Mann earlier teased fans on Twitter about “Revenge” Season 5. The tweet, however, does not express any clear and definite indication of a series ending or continuation.

Nayar also told EW there will be some “shocking” developments in the “Revenge” Season 4 finale, which is also the series finale. The show boss added they (the producers) wanted to give fans what they want, and they think the series ending will make fans “extremely satisfied.”

Titled “Two Graves,” the final episode of “Revenge” hints at another death. Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) dies of suicide in episode 20, which aired on April 19. In episode 21, Amanda Clarke gets arrested. On Sunday’s episode 22, Amanda depends her fate on Jack (Nick Wechsler) and Nolan (Gabriel Mann).

EW brought up the speculation that the new ABC series “The Kingmakers” is a spin-off of “Revenge.” Nayar neither confirmed nor denied it, but he hinted it is not impossible for a “Revenge” character to appear in the new show.

“The Kingmakers” is brought to ABC by “Revenge” writer and producer Sallie Patrick. Nayar said he “loves” the scripts of the new series.

Sunil Nayar wore the “Revenge” show boss hat in 2013. He replaced the series creator Mike Kelley, who stepped down in April of the same year.
