Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship rock solid, actress prepares for royal duties

There may have been some public doubt at the beginning of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship, but the two seem to be making things work despite the geographical distance between the two of them. Moreover, some media outlets are claiming that the American actress is already preparing for her royal future.

“Despite the distance, the media attention and everything else, there’s a real ease to their relationship,” a source told People Magazine. “It just works. They are deeply happy.” The source then went on to say that, despite her place in Hollywood, Meghan is a down to earth person and wonderful woman overall. “It’s very easy to see why Harry was so drawn to her.”

Meghan’s best friend, Lindsay Roth, shared the same sentiments. She applauded how the “Suits” star has handled all the extra media attention. “We should all strive to handle the ups and downs of our lives as gracefully, smartly, elegantly, positively, realistically and graciously as Meg has,” she said.

Their relationship has been going so well that E! News even claimed that their engagement is no longer a question of “Will it happen?” but is more a matter of “When will it happen?” An insider told the publication that it is all about timing at this point as both Harry and Meghan are ready to settle down and are in the relationship for the long haul. “Everything has fallen into place,” they described.

Dating a royal, much less the fifth in line to the throne, is not easy. Harry’s former girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, admitted as much in 2016. “I found it very difficult when it was bad,” she told The Times (via Hello Magazine). “I couldn’t cope… I was trying to be a normal kid, and it was horrible.”

Nevertheless, it seems as if Meghan is handling the pressures of dating Harry with poise and indiscretion. Some critics questioned her motives at the beginning of the relationship and wondered whether or not she had the ability to marry into the royal family. However, it has since been noted that Meghan has been less vocal about her life on social media.

It is unclear at this point whether or not Harry or Meghan have plans to tie the knot, as neither party has made any public statements about the same. However, it is speculated that an engagement announcement may come soon.
