Norman Reedus of "The Walking Dead" knows how to connect with his fans as well as how to give back to the society. In April 2014, Reedus announced that he will release a book containing the artwork made by his fans. "Thanks For All The Niceness" is ready and fans can pre-order the book, here. The book will be released on Oct. 31, 2014 and a good portion of the proceeds from the book will be donated to The Bachmann Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation.

In April this year, Reedus tweeted that he wants to release a book containing the artwork made by his fans. He shared the e-mail address and asked his ardent fans to send across the art made by them.

According to Reedus' website, bigbaldbook.com, "Thanks For All The Niceness" is "a compilation of sometimes hilarious, sometimes sinister, but always fascinating artwork made by his fans." The website stated that it is the actor's "way to show his gratitude."

The actor received more than 3000 entries from countries like Australia, Spain, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, England, Hungary, Italy, Indonesia, Austria and the U.S.

Reedus selected 100 art pieces for "Thanks For All The Niceness" and clearly it was not easy for him to come up with the final 100 list.

The art pieces are created on different mediums. Images of Norman Reedus and the character he plays in "The Walking Dead" - Daryl Dixon are depicted in the form of sketches, mosaics, digital art, chalk drawings, tattoo designs as well as sketches made by children.

Reedus shared that a portion of the proceeds is being donated to The Bachmann Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation. His friend is battling dystonia which is a serious neurological disorder that causes painful spasms in different parts of the body.

"By buying this book, you are truly helping and I thank you for joining me in shedding light on this important cause," Reedus wrote in a message about the charity.
