Since the Pokémon X and Y new games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were announced, these have been on every trainer's mind. The Hoenn remakes were expected to appear on one single day, but without us knowing that there were new mega evolution forms to go along with the Pokémon ORAS update.

Ruby and Sapphire starters Treecko and Mudkip will also receive alternate forms. As such, we can expect that we'll be able to see more forms on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release date time.

Which Pokémon will receive mega forms in the new Hoenn remakes?

A leaked list of possible mega evolutions appeared on 2Chan and shared around Reddit. But others say that this leaker was not on point. Present on the leakster's list was Sceptile, Swampert and Sableye.

With Mega Sceptile, Swampert and Sableye on the program, we can't help but go back to this list. Maybe only gen 3 Pokémon with names starting with the letter "S" will receive megas, or maybe we'll discover more Pokémon from 2Chan that can possibly be true or not.

Something to think about the leaked Pokémon X and Y new mega evolutions list are the Pokémons that received new forms that aren't present on it. Mega Gyarados is not on the list which is definitely expected to be present. Also Latios and Latias are nowhere to be found on the list, which lessens its credibility.

Let's hope that Nintendo and the Pokémon Company don't clearly turn to adding new mega evolutions whenever it's time to advertise a new Pokémon game. Having Megas in X and Y were fun, though littering the entire pokedex could prove to be too much of a good thing. Going back to the list, it is not a bad idea to see a Mega Volcarona and a Mothra vs. Godzilla; a battle of this magnitude would be an interesting fight that fans would love to watch over and over probably a couple times.
