OnePlus 5 is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated handsets of this year, as it is expected to come with specs and features that can even match the performance of the iPhones and Samsung Galaxys. LG G6 also created a lot of wave with its specs and features. It will be interesting to see how the two compare against each other.

OnePlus is hailed as the flagship killer because of its ability to provide the best of everything at very affordable prices. While there is very little information on the specs and features of the upcoming flagship, a Weibo leak threw some light on the expected configuration. The leak talked about a 6/8GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, dual camera setup with AR and MR capabilities, 128GB internal storage capacity, 4,000 mAh battery and a 5.3-inch 2K AMOLED display. The flagship is expected to come with a glass body.

OnePlus 5 could drop the 1080p screen resolution and settle for a Quad HD (1,440 x 2,560 pixels) resolution. This will make it in line with Google, Samsung and LG. The LG G6 is yet another amazing smartphone that comes with a plethora of surprises. It has a 5.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels pixels. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back panel and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection. It is IP68 certified and is powered by a Snapdragon 821 chip and Adreno 530 GPU.

The LG G6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with LG UX 6.0 UI on top. The always-on display option is available. The internal storage capacity is 32 and 64GB. microSD card slot can expand memory up to 256GB. There is a dual 13 MP (f/1.8, OIS, 3-axis, phase detection AF) + 13 MP (f/2.4, no AF) primary camera with dual-LED flash. Other features include 1/3" sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and HDR. The front camera is of 5MP. The fingerprint scanner is at the back. Fast battery charging is also enabled.

The LG G6 comes with a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery and in mystic white, astro black and ice platinum colour options, reviews GSMArena. The OnePlus 5 camera is expected to be of 23MP and the front camera of 16MP. As is evident, both the flagships boast some excellent features and thus, it is completely up to the user to decide which one he will go with.
