It is now revealed that North Korea supporters are behind the recent Sony cyber attack. The firm's computer system was hacked in an attempt to show the protest against upcoming release of the movie 'The Interview,' which depicts the plot to assassinate Kim Jong Un in a comic way.

The Pyongyang government state-run media is blaming pro-North Korean supporters for the hacking scandal. NDTV has named an organization and hacking gang 'Guardians of Peace' responsible for attacking computer system of Sony Corporation. A diplomat of the North Korean government has denied any official involvement of the ruling party in the hacking scandal, despite their strong opposition to Sony Pictures comedy, 'The Interview,' which is slated for Christmas release in the U.S. The state run media even declared the hacking attack as the 'just punishment' for Sony to come up with such a movie which is an 'act of war'.

The news has been confirmed by Bloomberg which further states that hackers have paralyzed the computers of Sony Corporation's US film and television division for almost two weeks. The attack resulted in great chaos as thousands of confidential data including Social Security numbers of employees and even celebrities leaked online along with high quality digital version of several unreleased films.

Forensic experts hired by Sony to investigate the attack have already claimed earlier that it was a planned move of an organized group and has mentioned North Korea as the prime suspect for this crime. Fingers are also being pointed out at St Regis Hotel which is a five-star hotel in Bangkok, as the spot from where the whole hacking was carried out; making it a remote controlled hacking, as claimed by Bloomberg.

In the meantime, Sony employees have received an email from the group 'Guardians Of Peace' threatening them of dire consequences. "Removing Sony Pictures on earth is a very tiny work for our group which is a worldwide organization," are the words mentioned in the said email.

On the other hand, Sony has confirmed that despite the setback, there is no delay and the movie will release as per the schedule on Dec. 25 in the U.S.
