Microsoft's budget friendly smartphones are stuffed with great features, hardware software and performs well. The Nokia X2 launched in June while the Nokia Lumia 630 was launched in May 2014.

The Nokia X2 sports a 4.3-inch IPS LCD display having a 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a dual-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 200) Cortex-A7 processor that stands at 1.2 GHz having 1GB of RAM. The Nokia X2 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on Nokia X platform 2.0 UI.It comes in 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD. The Nokia X2 features a 5 MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. The X2 has a Li-Ion 1800 mAh battery that can last up to 13 hours of talktime and up to 23 days of standby time. The X2 comes in glossy green, orange black, yellow, white and matt dark grey.

The Nokia Lumia 630 on the other hand sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It is powered by a superior quad-core, ARM Cortex-A7 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) processor that stands up to 1.2GHz with 512 MB of RAM. The nokia Lumia 630 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS. It comes 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via micro SD. The Lumia 630 also features a 5MP rear-facing camera but does not have a front-facing camera and it also does not have LED flash. The Lumia 630 packs Li-Ion 1830 mAh battery. Like the X2, Lumia 630 can also last up to 13 hours of talk time but it has a longer standby time that can last up to 27 days. It comes in bright orange, bright green, bright yellow, white and black.

For the connectivity, both phones have support for bluetooth, WiFi, WiFi hotspot and USB charging. Both phones has dual SIM support and micro SIM type. For the design, Nokia's style providing bright colour options to the users is quite nice. Having the options from the classic black or white variants to the bold colours give users a chance to have whatever colour for its personal choice.
