This week on “NCIS,” Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) heads home to Oklahoma to spend Thanksgiving with her family. Back at home base, the NCIS team tackles a “Saving Private ryan” kind of story, when they try to help out a sailor who lost two brothers in the line of duty.

[Warning: Spoiler Alert]

Episode 10 is titled “Blood Brothers,” and according to the synopsis shared by TV.com, the NCIS team is called upon by the Secretary of Defense. He asks for help in finding a bone marrow donor for a certain sailor who is in need of a transplant. His two most obvious donors, his siblings, are unfortunately unable to donate because they were killed in active duty.

The team works hard to save the sailor, whose family has sacrificed significantly for the country. Elsewhere, Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will show up in Oklahoma to support Bishop, as she escapes the chaos in her personal life. She finds solace in her hometown as she figures out what to do about her ruined marriage.

In the previous episode, she was attempting to spice up her marriage by making an effort to spend more time with her husband, Jake. When she noticed how distant and secretive he has become, she dug deeper and realised that he might be facing some trouble at work. She saw him with Taylor Matthews, a woman who works with internal affairs, and guessed that her husband must be under investigation.

Unfortunately, despite Bishop’s theories about Jake’s possible trouble at work, he was forced to admit that he was actually having an affair with Matthews. He came clean when Bishop tried to offer her support, thinking he was going through a difficult time at work. She was devastated after hearing the infidelity confession, and the NCIS team immediately became protective and refused to let Jake into the office.

She said that she will be in Oklahoma, and it remains to be seen how Thanksgiving goes, and what she will decide to do next. “NCIS” Episode 10, “Blood Brothers” airs on Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS in the U.S.
