The LG G Flex boasts a special feature known as the "Self-healing back," which means that the device can self-repair its exterior. Apparently, the said feature was also possessed by its predecessor but this time LG claims that the healing time was made faster from ten minutes to even ten seconds at room temperature. But obviously, the healing ability will not withstand too much friction such as using sandpaper or even applying sharp tools like knives and the likes.

The self-healing feature is the effect of adding hydrogen atoms as one of the materials that make up the back cover of the Flex 2. According to Techno Buffalo, in case the back gets a minor scratch, the atoms comprising the cover would be pushed together. It's like a minor wound that gets healed by itself wherein the skin tissues would automatically regenerate. The company clarifies that only those dents that are on a microscopic level gets healed in just a few minutes or seconds.

Aside from the faster "self-healing" coat, Tech Radar has made an interesting review on the curved smartphone's improved performance specifications built into a smaller handset. Under its hood, the LG G Flex2 is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with octa-core 64-bit capable CPU with clock speed of 2.0GHz. It is also equipped with 2GB of RAM with an internal storage of 16GB up to 32GB and an impressive 2TB microSD slot.

The smartphone sports a full HD 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display, while harmoniously incorporating a symphony of curves that range from a radius of 400mm to 700mm across the front, back, sides and top-to-bottom edges. The G Flex 2 uses the Android 5.0 Lollipop as its platform and sports a new 13MP Laser Auto Focus rear-camera which can capture precise photos even in low light conditions, aided by proven OIS+ technology and dual LED flash. It is also packed with 3,000mAh battery with fast charging capability and a front-facing 2.1MP camera.

There is no information about the price and release date of the device. Rumours say that the price of the LG G Flex 2 might cost around US$760 or 499 pounds for the U.K. market.
