Larry King and wife to drop divorce
Broadcaster Larry King and his seventh wife have submitted legal papers dismissing their planned divorce, King's representative said on Thursday.
The CNN host and his wife Shawn Southwick have both submitted petitions to withdraw divorce papers filed last April when their marriage had some problems.
"A lot of new things are happening to us and we are happy to be together as a family with our children," King, who recently announced he would end his 25-year reign on "Larry King Live", said in a statement.
In June, Southwick tried to kill herself at her Utah home by overdosing on prescription drugs as she fought with depression.
The couple got married back in 1997 and have two young sons. King has been married eight times, having married one of his wives twice.
