Lady Gaga walks the red carpet in the American Music Awards in the most unconventional manner to date.

The "Applause" singer arrives at the red carpet riding a white mechanical horse operated by two men inside and led by another man.

She was also wearing the purple Versace dress she wore during the shoot for the brand's Spring 2014 ad campaign. Finally, Gaga had her long blonde hair ironed out and parted to the side to complete the look that makes her a Donatella deadringer.

Gaga told Giuliana Rancic that she chose the said dress because she had fun working for the ad.

She also talks about her bond with Versace house head Donatella and working with the brand, saying, "Donatella is family to me, and she's alway been so supportive of my career. It was a wonderful experience, and it's a wonderful coup d'etat for the fans as well. You know? I'm just a girl who made outfits out of trash from New York, and now I'm working with Versace!"

Last Saturday, Versace announced via its official Twitter account that the avant-garde singer is their newest brand ambassador.

At the same time, Gaga also shares her first photograph for Versace, who, according to E! Online, is channeling Donatella.

Gaga also expresses her excitement for her new role, writing on her Twitter account, "I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia."

To which Donatella responds with, "To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you. -Donatella"

Lady Gaga has been known to be a fan of Donatella and the Versace brand, so much that she has paid homage to the former with a song from her ARTPOP album entitled "Donatella." And prior to her appointment as the brand's ambassador, Gaga has also wore three Versace outfits during her hosting gig for "Saturday Night Live."
