It seems that the world's favorite couple is setting their own rules when it comes to being royals, but it's not what most people think.

According to a report, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not living as grand as most imagined to be. Catherine, being the "practical princess" that she is, seems to be influencing her husband, Prince William, to live a simple, domesticated life without as much royal aides as possible.

It was reported that even though the couple has a handful of residences to choose from, ranging from majestic to downright extravagant, the Duke and Duchess has their eyes on Princess Margret's Kensington Palace, a relatively humble-yet-attractive place for the future King and Queen to reside. In the same post, it was also said that the couple will be bringing in as little "help" as possible, with Catherine willing to do the chores and maintain the house her own way.

The Duchess has also been spotted several times doing the house shopping for herself and the Prince. In some days, Catherine will be seen pushing a cart with grocery items wearing simple clothes, instead of having someone do the job for her.

According to the post, this kind of lifestyle was not only influenced by The Duchess, but is also the result of Prince William and Prince Harry's upbringing by the late Princess Diana. Princess Diana has always taught the Princes how to be "as down to earth as possible," and always think of others before they get concerned for their behalf.

It seems like the future Queen and King of England is setting the standard for living like simpletons even with enough power to change the world.
