After a slew of pregnancy rumors, the Palace has already spoken about Middleton's status on producing a Royal Heir.

Despite rumors circulating that the Duchess is pregnant by shunning alcohol and peanut bars, the Palace says Middleton is "not" pregnant, but is in the hopes of bearing a child. Last week, the Duchess was seen "rubbing" or "patting" her belly during a charity event, after refusing to eat peanut bars and ingesting champagne in various appearances.

"There have been reports to the contrary worldwide, but the fact is that the Duchess of Cambridge is not pregnant. Does she hope to be soon? I should say so" claims the royal aide close to William and Kate.

Another Royal aide suggests that a pregnancy announcement in this time of season is perfect, especially that the couple has been married for more than six months, and that it will make the country "ecstatic."

"Wouldn't it be wonderful, in these days of economic gloom, for an announcement to come shortly? I think it would be a terrific morale booster for the whole country" says the insider. The sources added that there won't be any "leaks" or "confirmed rumors" about the pregnancy, and the Palace or the Royal Couple is set to make the announcement themselves.

"Trust me, this is not going to be the sort of announcement that will be pre-empted by anyone hacking into royal mobile phone voice messages." added the source to a report by MSNBC.
