Justin Bieber took to Instagram to announce that he was officially joining "Zoolander 2." The 21-year-old posted the image on April 29.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Boyfriend" singer can be seen trying to out-blue steel Ben Stiller in the photo. Bieber had hinted at an appearance on Facebook, telling fans that he was “working on something big” in Europe. He had also added "follow me on Fahlo" and that "he is so hot right now."

Filming is already underway for "Zoolander 2," which hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016. Bieber will join an all-star cast which includes Penelope Cruz, Billy Zane, Fred Armisen, Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig and Lewis Hamilton. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson will be returning as Derek Zoolander and Hansel.

The follow-up to the hit 2001 comedy was initially announced during the Paris Fashion Week in March 10. People.com reported that Stiller and costar Owen Wilson reprised their roles during the Valentino show. The pair walked the runway in custom looks by the label and posed for photos with Vogue's Anna Wintour. (Watch the video below.)

Ben Stiller said that the long overdue sequeal was a gradual process since the script was written in 2005. He said that it was "exciting" to finally talk about the movie after everything "came together" in 2014.

On April 28, Huffington Post published photos of Penelope Cruz on the sets of "Zoolander 2." Ben Still had posted a photo of the Oscar winning on his Instagram account to announce that she would be joining the "Zoolander 2" cast.

This is the first time Justin Bieber will be appearing in a feature film. After returning from the shoot for "Zoolander 2," Bieber will be at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the fight between Floyed Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao on Saturday May 2.
