A leaked video from the production set of the upcoming film “Joker” has surfaced online. The video shows the look of the Joaquin Phoenix’s villainous character.

Production of the upcoming movie is ongoing in full swing. The cast and crew recently filmed an action sequence in a subway. A leaked video shows the filming of this scene, and the look of the villain Joker in the film.

The video posted on YouTube shows people running terrified at a subway station, which should stand in for the subway station in he fictitious Gotham city.  Joker and his henchmen are the ones terrifying the people.

The Joker’s look appears to include unkempt green hair, white makeup with lipstick and a tear drop design under the left eye. The villain will be wearing his trademark purple suit that the fans of the franchise will be familiar with. It remains to be seen if this is the final look of the character or if there will be modifications made either physically or digitally.

Another interesting thing to note in the leaked video is that the Joker will be wearing a clown mask, just as Heath Ledger did for his character in the 2008 film “The Dark Knight.”

The plot of the upcoming film is currently being kept under wraps, but it is said to be an origin story of the Joker. Judging by the leaked video, the character will turn into the dreaded villain from the comics pretty soon in the film.

“Joker” is being directed by Todd Phillips, who is known for directing movies like “The Hangover,” “War Dogs,” and “Due Date.” The other cast members of the film include Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Marc Maron, and Frances Conroy.

The film is set to be released on Oct. 4, 2019 in the US and the UK. The producers are yet to announce the release date for Australia.
