In a rare opportunity, fans of the popular comedy series “Jane The Virgin” have a chance to see two of the show’s main characters working amicably together. Rafael Solano and Michael Cordero, are played by actors Justin Baldoni and Brett Dier respectively. They are bitter rivals on the show, but thanks to American retail store Target, the two of them have partnered up to share some holiday cheer. Everything was captured in a holiday promo video presented by Target. [scroll down for video].

“Do you want to go feed the homeless?” asks Dier in the video, as he and Baldoni sit around a Target store, waiting to film a scene for “Jane The Virgin.” Justin likes the idea and responds, “We should get a bunch of Target stuff.”

The two actors give a rare show of camaraderie and proceed to choose a wide array of items from the store. They fill up numerous carts with basic necessities and other items, which they intend to give away. They then proceed to sneak out of the store under the noses of the production crew.

“It’s fun that we get to play Santa, I hope we don’t get fired,” says Justin. The two of them go on to distribute food, beverages and other various items to homeless people on the street. They also visit several shelters and other places with people in need. Meanwhile, the production crew has noticed that they are missing.

The actors scramble frantically and try to get back on set before they lose their jobs. Luckily, as evidenced by last week’s episode, they were successfully able to shoot the scene that they needed. Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and the other Villanueva women, took Rafael to the Target store for the annual Black Friday sale. While there, Jane ran into Michael.

Jane hasn’t seen Michael in six months, since they had a falling out when Michael and Rafael got into a violent fight in front of Jane’s baby. When Jane tried to catch up, Michael was not interested in small talk.

Meanwhile, Jane found out that Rafael really did set Michael up to be fired. Michael isn’t speaking to Jane, while Jane is furious at Rafael. What used to be a love triangle, has now completely fallen apart. Find out how things will play out, when “Jane The Virgin” returns.

The mid-season finale is scheduled to air on Monday, Dec 14, at 9:00 pm ET on The CW.
