Jamie Dornan Calls His Character Christian Grey As 'Bigfoot And Myth,' Says No Actor Could Live Up To His Role
Jamie Dornan looks droolworthy in his new pictures from Elle magazine. The sexy actor also reveals a lot more about his character Christian Grey from his upcoming R-rated movie "Fifty Shades of Grey." In the black-and-white pictures, the actor sports a beard and shows off his impressive biceps. The 32-year-old actor looks stunning in a simple white vest as he gazes intensely at the camera. Dornan also tells the magazine that no actor could have done justice to Christian's role completely as it is "unattainable." The hot actor, who will be seen in the role of a kinky billionaire, also says that he is tired of his sex-themed roles and would like to do a comedy next.
The actor told Elle magazine's February issue that one thing he learned from "Fifty Shades of Grey" and his television series "The Fall" is how to tie up women in knots. "I can do a few. I don't know if you've seen "The Fall," but I tie up women a lot. So it was like seven months straight of tying up women," the actor is quoted as saying by the magazine. The magazine also interviewed director Sam Taylor-Wood who was full of praises for Dornan and called him an "incredibly versatile and skilled actor."
She further praised the actor for switching on from one mood to another very easily from being an "adorable puppy" to "dark and dangerous" Christian Grey. The casting of the character has been a controversial subject ever since it was announced. After Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the movie, Dornan was announced for the role. But there are still many fans of the book who believe that someone else should have been casted in the role of the kinky billionaire and Dornan is aware of that.
"The other day, this woman came up and started shouting at me, 'Matt Bomer's the real Christian Grey,' And I was like, 'um, okay'," the actor told the magazine. He further said that it is impossible to satisfy the fans of the book with any actor in the role. Dornan feels the character of Christian Grey is not real but he is a "superhero and myth." He also called Christian as "Bigfoot" and somebody who is "unbelievable and unattainable." There's no actor in the world who could live up to that, says Dornan.
