Two preview videos of episode 8 of “Hell on Wheels” Season 5 have been released online. The video teases Cullen getting back to focusing on the railroad. He has to choose between his family and work in the next episode.

[Spoiler alert]

Cullen Bohannan (Anson Mount) will meet with the head of the Mormons in the next episode. Brigham Young (Gregg Henry) talks about choosing the railroad over your own family.

Going back to his family, Cullen is faced with the fact that he may no longer be welcome. Isaac (Toby Hemingway) will have a chat with the hero, and the former will want to know what the latter’s intentions are for coming back.

A scene from the next episode released by amc shows Cullen leading Naomi (MacKenzie Porter) and Isaac in a carriage. Cullen is leading them through some hostile territory, where they are attacked. Using a clever ruse of letting the horses go, the group manages to escape unharmed in the scene.

After episode 8 heavily focused on the conflict between Cullen and The Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl), Thomas Durant (Colm Meaney) will be back in the next episode of “Hell on Wheels” Season 5. He will be making a deal with Mickey McGinnes (Phil Burke), while telling Mickey that every business is “dirty.”

Thomas has very few friends left, after his various schemes and scams were revealed. Despite his setbacks, Thomas continues to want to do more and make more money.

Meanwhile, amc has also released the most talked about scene from episode 8 of “Hell on Wheels” Season 5. The death of The Swede came as a surprise because he has been a very prominent character since the very first season of the show. Till the very end the villain was hoping for a way to get out of his predicament, but ultimately failed.
