The Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto V" (GTA 5) videogame featuring Herr Kutz Barbers was reportedly copied from a real shop in Plymouth, Devon without permission from its owner Anthony Braddon.

According to Daily Mail, Braddon claims that Rockstar Games stole the name of his barber's shop, Herr Kutz. He also said that the GTA 5 version is an exact replica of his shop. It even features the same interior, windows, sign and frontage.

"It is exactly the same, the way the logo is written, the same font, the same everything. They have clearly seen the name and thought "Oh that's good, we'll pinch that," said Braddon in the Daily Mail report.

55-year-old Braddon was told about the GTA 5 game featuring Herr Kutz by his three sons. They showed it to him on their Xbox.

Braddon already consulted some lawyers about this issue but he was told they could not do anything about this.

Braddon has been running Herr Kutz for 32 years now. His wife Sarah helps him out. He was shocked to see his shop in such a violent game and he doesn't want to be associated to it because he thinks it could damage his business.

"We are a family shop and this is the complete opposite of what we do," said Braddon in the report from Daily Mail.

"It's all drug taking, car thefts, it goes against everything we stand for. I never thought in a million years that people could pinch the shop's name."

"I think it's an insult and I want them to change it - but I doubt very much that will happen," added Braddon.

In the "Grand Theft Auto V" videogame, Herr Kutz Barber is a chain of barber shops that have branches in Davis and Mirror Park, Los Santos and Paleto Bay. Players who stalk them on Lifeinvader will get their first haircut there for free.

According to the GTA V Manual, Herr Kutz is an old school barber shop with modern prices. Aside from haircuts, it can also give customers blowouts, cornrows and mullets.

Rockstar Games has not commented on Braddon's accusations of trademark infringement as of this writing.

Did Rockstar Games and "Grand Theft Auto V" (GTA 5) actually stole the idea of Herr Kutz Barbers and copied it from a real shop in Plymouth, Devon without permission from its owner Anthony Braddon? Until Rockstar Games issues an official statement addressing Braddon's allegations, then it's his word against the company.
