Google Nexus 7 2013 And 2012 Removed From Play Store Listing, Probably Discontinued

The Google Play Store is no longer selling the Nexus 7 tablet. It means that Google has officially decided to axe its 7-inch affordable tablet. So, if a buyer is looking forward to purchase a Nexus tablet, the only option available is the Nexus 9 tablet.
Accessing the Google Nexus 7 U.S. web page shows that the tablet is no longer available for buying. The Nexus 7 from 2013 is a product from Asus. It was first announced on July 2013. It was released to replace the original Nexus 7 from 2012. The Nexus 7 2013 are still available at other online stores. However, once the stocks with other retailers get over, Google have no plans to replenish with newer stocks, states GSM Arena.
The Nexus 7 like other Nexus devices was one of the first devices to receive Android updates. The most recent update that was made available for both 2012 and 2013 models is the Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Remembering The Nexus 7 2012 And Nexus 7 2013
The Nexus 7 2012 came with a thicker chassis of 10.5 mm. that featured a 7-inch display supporting 800 x 200 pixels along with 216 ppi. It is powered with Tegra 3 chipset containing a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB of RAM. It was rolled out in three internal storage capacity variants namely, 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB.
The main camera of the device is of 1.2 MP. It did not feature a front-facing camera. It comes with a huge battery of 4325 mAh capacity. The Nexus 7 2012 does not support cellular connectivity.
The Nexus 7 2013 came with a thickness of 8.7 mm and it came in cellular and non-cellular edition that only supported Wi-Fi connectivity. The 7-inch display of the device supports 1200 x 1920 pixels with support for 323 ppi. It is powered by Snapdragon S4 Pro featuring a quad-core 1.GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM.
It is available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants. There is a 5 MP primary camera and 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It comes with host of connectivity features and is packed with a huge battery of 3950 mAh capacity.
