At the UK Critics’ Circle Awards, Maisie Williams teased about the fate of Jon Snow in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. The actress did not reveal any major details about the character, but said that it would be a “great twist.”

[Spoiler alert]

In a video posted on YouTube, Williams (Arya Stark) can be seen answering questions at the event. The actress pointed out that everyone was sad to see Jon Snow (Kit Harington) die in the previous season. The people that Williams met over the past few months have asked her about the character and she revealed that some of them feel that he will be coming back.

“It’s a great twist, but I can’t say that he’s alive,” Williams said about the character. Some of the popular theories about Jon Snow’s return include him being brought back to life by Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) and him warging into his direwolf Ghost.

The actress said that everything is now falling in place in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 and is now moving towards “the finale.” She teased that there will be some “really great cinematic shots” on the show. Williams was apparently not in these shots and only read about them in the script. She is, however, eager to see these scenes on TV.

The TV series has already used up all the source material from “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin. In another video from the event, Williams was asked whether she too was in the dark about what happens next. The actress said that she is waiting to see what happens next.

She also said that since the fans don’t know what will happen in “Game of Thrones” Season 6, there is a lot of room for “dissing.” Williams said that her story arc this time around was “fun to read and fun to do” and she hoped that the fans enjoy it.
