A down to earth Ansel Elgort, who plays Gus Waters in the movie "The Fault in Our Stars" (TFIOS), has recently showed why fans should love him more as he tap-danced in an interview on "The Tonight Show" starring Jimmy Fallon and admitted he likes posing with posters of his movies advertised in subways.

The 20-year-old 'TFIOS' actor, though has apparently sounded nervous as he stammered explaining to Fallon the moment when he should have approached the host but was halted by a mob, sounded playful and confident explaining Fallon's compilation of the New Yorker posing with his movie posters in subways.

Elgort explained on "The Tonight Show" that posing with his movie posters is something he does and will do forever, because as an American actor born and raised in New York City he had taken the subway to school for years.

"The Fault in Our Stars" actor further explained that he remembered taking the subway and seeing movie posters, telling himself that one day the movie he is in will be "advertised" in subways as well.

Elgort has only appeared in two movies before the movie adaptation of John Green's best-selling novel 'TFIOS,' which were "Carrie" where he played Tommy Ross and "Divergent" where he first starred with his "The Fault in Our Stars" co-star Shailene Woodley as her brother Caleb.

But despite only starring in two movies before 'The Fault,' Ansel Elgort has shown qualities of a promising actor that he is now making a name in Hollywood.

"This was only my third film at the time, but after seven years in theatre I was comfortable going a little bit big," Elgort told Los Angeles Daily News in a new interview.

"It's a beautiful story and it's not very sentimental, which is a nice thing, too," he added.

Elgort, playing Gus Waters alongside Woodley in "The Fault in Our Stars" is appearing in the new movie "Men, Women & Children" and has been recast as Caleb in the "Divergent" sequel "Insurgent."

The 'TFIOS' actor is joining Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz and new cast Suki Waterhouse, Jonny Weston, Olivia Spencer and Stephanie L. Schlund in the "Divergent" sequel "Insurgent."

In the meantime, Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley grace the big screens in "The Fault in Our Stars." The movie adaptation of John Green's novel hits theatres in Australia on June 5, 2014 and in the U.S. on June 6, 2014.
