A new trailer of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” has been released online. The trailer teases a dead wizard from the “Harry Potter” series and how the protagonist Newt Scamander knew him.

[Spoiler alert]

Albus Dumbledore may be dead in “Harry Potter” but the forthcoming movie is set 70 years before Daniel Radcliffe’s character entered Hogwarts. The latest trailer of the movie has an Easter egg for the fans of the franchise, with the mention of the popular wizard.

Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) attended Hogwarts briefly before being expelled. One professor who was strongly against the expulsion was Dumbledore. Newt now travels to New York with a suitcase full of magical creatures and the adventure begins.

The special suitcase has a button to make sure no muggle (people with no magical abilities) learns its secrets. The trailer shows the magical creatures constantly attempting to get out of the suitcase, but the ever watchful Newt keeps them locked up.

The main plot of “Fantastic Bests and Where to Find Them” revolves around a group of magical creatures escaping from Newt’s suitcase and the wizard going after them throughout the rest of the movie. The escape of the magical creatures will pose some challenges to the wizards in the US, who are fearful of their identities being discovered by the non-magic folk in the country.

The trailer teases that the wizards in the US may not be able to keep their secret for long, after Newt arrives in the country. The wizard Percival Graves (Colin Farrell) discovers that Newt may not be an ordinary human and he appears to be tasked with apprehending Newt before he causes more damage.

“Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them” is slated to be released on Nov. 18, 2016 in the US. It is not clear when the movie will be released in Australia. The movie has been directed by David Yates and written by “Harry Potter” series author J.K. Rowling.
