Drake and Rihanna split up: Chris Brown offers his own theory as to why

For the last few months, Drake and Rihanna have been the golden couple of the music industry. But even that seems to have come to an end, which comes as no shock to Chris Brown.

The general public swooned when Drake publicly confessed his love for the 28-year-old “Diamonds” singer at the 2016 MTV VMAs in August. In the weeks that followed, the two were inseparable and were unafraid to show it. However, things seem to have gone downhill since then as their schedules cannot afford time for each other.

"Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment,” a source told E! News. “They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way."

And seeing other people they are. Another source of the publication claims that Drake has been seeing India Love, who starred on US network BET’s “The Westbrooks.” Love was previously linked to Cliff Dixon, who was interestingly rumoured to have cheated on her with Rihanna.

Meanwhile, Rihanna was in Barbados over the weekend with her family. She has kept her fans updated over Instagram, where she also uncharacteristically posted a photo that addressed her personal dating life.

While a lot of fans are disappointed at the breakup news, there is one person that is undisturbed by it. Brown, who dated Rihanna a few years back, expected that his ex’s relationship with Drake would not last from the very beginning.

A source told Hollywood Life that Browk knew Drake would never be enough for Rihanna. “[Chris] knew it wouldn’t last. No diss to Drake but he ain’t man enough for Rihanna,” he said. “He’s not edgy and when you peel back all his sweet BS lines and charm you see the real Drake: a boring mama's boy.”
