After chopping off her long tresses last year, judge of “Dancing With The Stars” Season 20 Julianne Hough has got herself a pink dye job. Just before Easter Hillary Duff was spotted with aqua green while January Jones went in for a dusty rose shade. Amber Rose went classic blue, and Julianne Hough settled for the pastel pink hue.
The professional dancer and actress shared the details of her new hair colour with her fans on her blog. Hough said that she is never afraid to experiment when it comes to her hair. She recalled how in 2014 she chopped off her long mane admitting that it was a bold move. But Hough also added that she had a sense of liberation after haircut and felt that she was not hiding behind the hair.
The two-time DWTS champion said that she decided to go pink as it is the colour of kindness. Her blonde tresses were looked after by none other than hair expert Riawna Capri, the co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles. She is also the one responsible for Hillary’s mermaid makeover has also styled Vanessa Hudgens and Charlie XCX. The 26-year-old celebrity shared a selfie on Instagram revealing her bubblegum pink look and captioned it “Pink hair don't care!” She had a piece of advice for her fans if they wanted to go in for the same hue. “Please see a professional. Keep in mind that all-over bleach will result in roots about every 4-6 weeks, so be ready for that touch up,” Julianne said. She also had a word of caution saying that all who wanted to keep up the unicorn magic to not embarrass their stylist. She told that the colour could become messy if it was not touched up at regular intervals.
Besides, the star added that when going in for pastel shades, eye colour should be taken into account. Like green eyes would work with purple hair, blue eyes would work well with pink hair, but brown eyes can pull off almost all colours. Hough also added that pastel shades require more make-up and that very few unicorns are able to pull off the make-up free look.
