Recap of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 Episode 11, "The Clean Room Infiltration":

The episode opens with the gang having dinner and the topic of Raj's parents hiring a divorce attorney comes up. Sheldon says that if he ever needs a lawyer, he would not contact She-Hulk who he thinks is an affirmative action hire. As Raj's dad will be in town, he says that he would not be able to do Christmas dinner. Amy wants to throw a Christmas dinner, as she always wanted to do a traditional, Victorian Christmas dinner, with parlour games, goose, Figgy pudding. Sheldon says that he is not coming and asks Amy, why she hates him. Amy smiles and says that she loves him.

Later, Sheldon tells Bernadette that he feels that Amy is not taking his feelings into count. Also, he reveals that Amy kissed him under the mistletoe in public. He thinks of teaching Amy a lesson. He wants to do something heinous, something that is going to make Amy miserable. He decides to buy Amy a present. According to Sheldon, Amy will feel terrible if he turns up with a present and she does not have one to give. Bernadette correctly guesses that this will end up making both sad.

At the shopping mall, Sheldon tells Bernadette that Amy loves medieval literature and her eyes sparkle when she watches old French movies, and he loves how music make her fingers to dance as if she is playing along. Hearing him say all that, Bernadette says, "Wow, you really do love her" and Sheldon replies, "I do." He soon adds, "Let's find the kind of gift that makes her feel small and worthless.

Sheldon sits in the Santa's lap to gets a picture of them together. The picture of Sheldon on Santa's lap is a way to punish Amy for making him celebrate Christmas. "Santa thinks dating you may be punishment enough," the Santa tells Sheldon.

After the Christmas dinner, when Sheldon gives Amy the gift, she is happy to receive it. She does not feel terrible and tells Sheldon that she also has something to give him -- Sheldon's favourite cookies from Meemaw's recipe. She called up his grandmother to get the recipe. Sheldon eats the cookie and says that they are perfect and adds, "It tastes like her hugs." He cannot believe both he and Amy are happy. He almost realises that Christmas is all about giving but then stops Raj from taking a cookie.

Before joining the gang and Raj's father for Amy's Christmas dinner, Leonard and Howard were trying to get a pigeon out of the Clean room. They were there to perform an experiment and one of them forgot to close the loading dock door. They called up Raj to help them, and like Leonard, he also thought that Howard must have not closed the loading door. The three also argued about who was the smartest among them. Howard almost ended up killing the pigeon when he used the fire extinguisher as part of the trio's plan to get it out of the room. Howard, however, brought it back to life by doing CPR on it. Their battle with the birds, however, does not end at that. When they were trying to get the pigeon out of the room, a crow flew in. Penny suggested that they erase their names from the signing sheet and walk out, which they end up doing.
