“Better Call Saul” season 3 promo has released and it teases that there will be more connect with “Breaking Bad.” Unfortunately, non-US viewers cannot view it.

If reports are to be believed, the teaser doesn’t bring a lot on the table for fans in terms of new footage but it does serve a purpose of reminding them that the forthcoming season will observe more tie-ups with the popular crime drama.

Bryan Cranston’s (Walter White) connection with season 3

For long, rumour mills are churning out stories that a new “Breaking Bad” character will join the third season of the series. Now, it seems that the speculations might turn out to be true. Bryan Cranston, who played the role of Walter White in the crime drama series is rumoured to be directing one episode of the prequel’s third season.

The speculations started doing the rounds after co-creator Vince Gilligan talked about the same in an interview with Digital Trends. “We would love to have Bryan direct, and I think he'd love to direct one. He wants to — it's just a matter of fitting it into his schedule,” he said.

Furthermore, Gilligan confirmed that Cranston visited the sets of “Better Call Saul” season 3. However, he said that Cranston dropped by for a casual meeting as he was in town for a press conference.

Grapevine also suggests that Cranston might revive his role as Walter White in one or more episodes of the series. However, nothing can be said to be true unless an official announcement is made.

Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) might join season 3

Besides Cranston’s possibility to be a part of the prequel, rumours suggest that Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) might return in the series. According to fans, Gus will play a major role in turning Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) into a drug trader.

“Better Call Saul” season 3 air date has not been announced as yet. The series is streamed in Australia on Stan.
