“Better Call Saul” season 3 is all set to make its debut on the small screen on April 10, and there will be more “Breaking Bad” connection in the forthcoming instalment than ever before. Apart from Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), another major character from the show is speculated to return to the series. Meanwhile, let’s have a look at the characters who have already made their appearances on the show’s prequel spinoff.

Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk)

James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill, who played the role of criminal lawyer in “Breaking Bad,” is the main character of the prequel show, around whom the story of the show revolves. The show reveals his journey to becoming the criminal lawyer, six years before his appearance on “Breaking Bad.” In the “Better Call Saul” season 3, his character will gradually identify with the characteristics of Saul Goodman.

Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis)

Hector Salamanca is introduced as the paralysed uncle of drug dealer Tuco Salamanca (who uses a bell to communicate) in “Breaking Bad.” However, his role gradually becomes prominent as the story moves forward. He avenges the death of his nephew from Gus Fring by playing a major role in the crazy suicide bomb setup.

In the prequel show, he is back in his most ruthless avatar. He makes Mike change his testimony and gets his nephew out of jail. His role is likely to increase in the forthcoming season.

Ken (Kyle Bornheimer)

Ken appears as a loud and obnoxious stockbroker in “Breaking Bad.” He swipes Walter White’s parking space, ignores him while he is boasting into his Bluetooth headset.

He appears in “Better Call Saul” season 3, where Jimmy and Kim trick him into paying for their expensive tequila shots at a bar.

Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz)

Tuco Salamanca plays the role of Hector Salamanca’s nephew, who also helps Jessi Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and Walter White (Bryan Cranston) in meth distribution. He dies in the hands of Hank Schrader (Dean Norris).

He appears in the prequel show’s season one. He is currently serving his jail term because of Mike.

Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks)

Michael "Mike" Ehrmantraut plays the role of a former corrupt police officer who uses his contacts in the criminal world to become the right hand of Gus Fring. He emerges as a side character in the show. However, he eventually becomes one of the main characters towards the end.

In both shows, Mike works with Jimmy. In “Better Call Saul,” he is introduced as a parking lot attendant.

Leonel Salamanca (Daniel Moncada) and Marco Salamanca (Luis Moncada)

Leonel and Marco Salamanca are the killer "cousins," twins who make several attempts to kill Walter White as well as Hank in “Breaking Bad.” However, they are killed in the show. In the show’s prequel spinoff, they stalk Mike until he agrees to change his testimony for their cousin Tuco.

Domingo "Krazy-8" Molina (Max Arciniega)

Domingo "Krazy-8" Molina appears early in “Breaking Bad” as Jessi Pinkman’s friend who later beats him up and forces White to reveal his recipe. He is killed by White after he chokes him up using a bicycle lock. In the prequel show, he is seen playing the same role of a drug dealer who is climbing the ladder of the criminal world gradually with Tuco’s support.

Lawson (Jim Beaver)

Lawson, who plays a small role of selling riffles to Walter White, also appears in a brief role in the prequel show when he sells Mike a rifle.

“Better Call Saul” season 3 will be aired on April 10 in the US at 10:00 p.m. ET on AMC. In Australia, the show is streamed on Stan. However, the streaming company has not announced about the third season yet.
