Even after nearly two decades, “Titanic” stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet still hold on to the chemistry that took the world by storm. Recently at the BAFTAs Awards in London, there was one person who let DiCaprio know she is always there for him. It was none other than Winslet.

DiCaprio may have dedicated his BAFTA award to his mum, but Winslet’s dedication did not go unnoticed.

“I feel very strongly that it may possibly be Leo’s year. He is my closest friend in the world and I just couldn’t imagine not being there to support him,” Winslet had said earlier.

In fact, DiCaprio is the main reason Winslet will not be boycotting the Oscars this year, revealed Vanity Fair. Winslet has been by DiCaprio’s side all throughout his winning streak this year. Winslet was present at the Golden Globes last month. At the BAFTAs, DiCaprio chose to bring his mum.

When the press called Winslet DiCaprio’s “main groupie,” he simply laughed, saying “my main groupie?” However, he had a completely different description for his beloved Rose, something that is in line with the actress’ formidable career.

“Kate. That’s my homegirl!,” DiCaprio said.

The English actress has already won an Oscar and is almost guaranteed to take home a second.

The Jack-Rose chemistry is still there between the two, and their friendship has been talked about since the day “Titanic” released. Fans will be pleased to see the two being for each other even after so many years, embracing after every win. Look at their joy when embracing here.

Winslet also answered the “Titanic” door controversy and whether it was possible for both Jack and Rose to fit on the floating door. She, however, mentioned that DiCaprio doesn’t care about the door.

“Do you know what’s lovely? So much time has passed that it doesn’t matter what I say now, it isn’t going to be a story that’s going to cause a huge furore. It’s just going to be something that makes people laugh. Thank god for the time and the passing of it. That’s all I can say,” Winslet said.

Fans are hoping to see the two locked in a lovely embrace when DiCaprio picks up an Oscar on Feb 28.
