The release date of “Avengers 4” is just over six months away, but the title of the film is still a mystery. Don Cheadle (James Rhodes) is the latest cast member to tease the title, but his complex way of sharing the clue left the fans even more confused than before.

In an online post [see below], Cheadle began by saying that he was going to give the “biggest hint” yet about the title of the film, but added that he may be just giving some information. He asked the fans to be the judge of whether or not his words are information or a hint.

“for one to give a hint about the title, they'd FIRST have to KNOW themselves what the title IS. which i don't. so ... (i wouldn't spend too much time trying to decode this one),” Cheadle wrote on Twitter. Was the actor simply saying that he doesn’t know the title of the film in a roundabout way? Or is there a hidden clue in there somewhere?

One passionate fan took up the challenge and focussed on the words “first,” “know,” and “is,” as these are the only ones written in caps. The fan used all his Marvel comics knowledge and mathematical skills to try and get to the answer. By the end of it the fan was nowhere near an answer, but his attempt made Cheadle laugh out loud.

Meanwhile, an impressive new fan art of the upcoming movie has surfaced online. The picture posted on Instagram shows what Tony Starks (Robert Downey Jr.) proton canon could look like. Readers should note that there is no confirmation of a proton canon being featured in the upcoming film.

The untitled “Avengers 4” movies is set to be released on May 3, 2019. The release date for Australia is yet to be announced.
