Ever since Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner) got “fired” for revealing the title of “Avengers 4” and a few spoilers about his character, he has been trying to get back in. The Russo brothers, however, are not ready to forgive the actor just yet, and they said as much in a recent exchange online.

The trouble for Ruffalo began after he revealed the title of the upcoming film on the “Tonight Show,” believing that it was already out there. The title and most of the scene description he shared was bleeped out, but some fans, like this one on Twitter, were able to make out the title to be “The Last Avenger.”

Whether or not this is the actual title, it does seem plausible. Besides, it appears to be a nod to the title of the first “Captain America” film, and a hint that Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) will die in the movie. The title reveal was also enough to get Ruffalo fired, especially after he previously revealed the ending of “Infinity War.”

In a recent conversation on Twitter [see below], Ruffalo tried to defend his actions by saying that the title reveal is nothing compared to the “spoiler” the directors revealed in the picture they released online announcing the wrap of filming.

The short answer to Ruffalo’s comments by the directors was that he remains fired. The actor was speechless by the response he got. The fans, however, have a lot to say.

Commenting on the conversation between the directors and Ruffalo, many of the fans urged the actor to not only reveal the title but also tease a few spoilers. The fans contend that the actor is free to do that now since he has been fired.

It remains to be seen if Ruffalo will listen to the fans and further jeopardise his chances of getting a job in future Marvel movies.
