Oliver will be getting a new superhero costume in “Arrow” Season 5, cast member Stephen Amell has revealed. There will be a new addition to the team, with the character Artemis joining the heroes.

In a live chat with his fans on Facebook, Amell (Oliver Queen) confirmed that he has read the script of the premiere episode of the next season. The actor talked about the action sequences in the episode, and revealed that he will have to do some of those scenes shirtless. The actor has been working out to get in better shape for the TV series.

The actor confirmed that the cast and crew will be busy filming the TV series from July 5th, but he will a few more days after that to prepare for his action sequence. Amell said that what’s exiting about the show this time around is that it will be “mean.” He revealed that there will be a new superhero costume for his character in “Arrow” Season 5.

One of the fans asked Amell when he would return to Australia. The actor said that he would love to come back for a convention and recalled how tiring it was for him the last time he was here.

When asked if Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) was coming back, the actor said that the TV series will demonstrate what the idea of Black Canary is to the people of Star City. The actor may have been talking about a memorial for the character, a concept art for which was shared by Marc Guggenheim online.

While the heroes lost one team member, another will be joining in “Arrow” Season 5. Madison McLaughlin will be returning as Evelyn Sharp, the one who stole the Black Canary mask in the previous season. She will now be seen in multiple episodes as the masked archer known as Artemis, Variety reports.
