A new character is being introduced in “Ant-Man and the Wasp.” Dr. Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne) has a history with Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). In a recent interview, Douglas spoke about this past relationship between the two characters and what it was like to work with Fishburne.

In an interview posted on YouTube, Douglas teased that there is a back story of his character and Dr. Bill Foster. The two used to work together in Hank’s lab. Douglas teased that the two scientists were competitive.

There was a bit of rivalry between Hank and Bill, and Douglas said that the two had their issues. The actor also revealed that his character felt threatened by Dr. Bill. The two characters will resolve their issues in the upcoming film.

Douglas also talked about working with Fishburne. He said that it’s a joy to do this kind of a movie with Fishburne. Douglas said that his fellow cast member is everything he had hoped for. He said that Fishburne is smart and a wonderful actor, who also has interests outside his acting career.

While talking about Hank’s reaction to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) joining the Avengers, Douglas said that his character doesn’t like this at all. He pointed out that by doing what the superhero did he has exposed himself to the world, instead of remaining secretive. He also explained that Hank didn’t like Scott in the first place, and now he has even more reason to hate the hero because he has stolen the heart of Hank’s daughter.

In another interview posted on YouTube, Douglas said that what he likes most about his character in this movie is that Hank is haunted by the loss of his wife. The movie will show the character building a ship to go into the quantum realm to try and rescue her.
