If there is one thing about “American Horror Story” that really disturbs its fans, it is the guessing game that the production team plays on the show’s fans. The show is notorious for being very secretive about what the upcoming season’s theme would be and would sometimes totally hide from the public eye. It has also happened that misleading teasers and trailers just were released to throw fans off; only to surprise them when the actual season comes out.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “American Horror Story” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the next episode airs.

“American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy had been hinting about a season that would feature a crossover between “Murder House” and “Coven” and, fortunately, some concrete details have finally been revealed. In a recent interview, Murphy was gracious enough to give more information on what viewers might get to see in Season 8 of AHS.

Murphy revealed that a character from the first season will be thrust into the world that viewers are left with towards the end of “Coven,” resulting in something like a male/female/witch academy. Murphy adds that all those characters will intertwine at some point; and this will be confusing because some of them are from seasons one and three. Sarah Paulson will be playing more characters than usual if this is, indeed, the case.

Since 2016, Murphy had been planning the crossover season which he revealed during the EW PopFest in Los Angeles, writes Entertainment Weekly. He said that they will be coming up with a season that will be a crossover between “Coven” and “Murder House” – and, needless to say, it will be very bizarre.

FX CEO John Landgraf also earlier said that while they already know exactly what “American Horror Story” season 7 is all about, they do not have any idea at all about what could be seen in seasons 8 and 9. Murphy remains committed to run “American Horror Story” and would be closely involved in the same manner that he has always been.

Season 7 of “American Horror Story” will premiere later this year. It will air on FX in the US and on Channel Eleven in Australia.
