The night was still young, but country stars didn't fail the audience as each arrived in standout gown or suit on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 6, 2014.

Kicking off the night were ACM Awards hosts Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, followed by The Band Perry, who won the "Vocal Group of the Year" award, warming up the MGM Grand Garden Arena with their new single "Chainsaw."

The best moments of the evening where mostly of the great performances from the country stars, including Hunter Hayes emotional country music performance, and the speeches given by the winners, but Shelton and Blake could not be overlooked as they apparently made the evening a fun event with their jokes, even mentioning Britney Spears who lives in Las Vegas.

"If you don't like live music, then you better go down the block to see Britney Spears," said Shelton.
