Ramsay Street faces a slew of stunning revelations and nasty truths on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Friday, Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond) confirms that it was Ryan Prescott (James Sweeny) who planted the hidden cameras at Lassiters in an attempt to blackmail Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou). Amy concocts a plan to get a copy of the footage, which is vital to back Xanthe Canning’s (Lilly Van Der Meer) story, but spoilers suggest her plans will be foiled.

Meanwhile, Ned (Ben Hall) is put in a tight spot when Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) rats him out to Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin) and Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall) about the blonde lock of hair he’s been keeping. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Aug.26 episode include Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and Madison Robinson (Sarah Ellen).

“Neighbours” also stars Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Karl (Alan Fletcher), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Charlie Hoyland (Alexander McGuire) and Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Friday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Lauren was wondering whether Ned stole a lock of Lauren’s hair, and how he did it without her knowledge. Brad said it might be when she’s sleeping, which makes it all creepier. When Ned arrives, Lauren confronts him about the lock of hair, rendering him speechless.

Digital Spy reports that Elly discovers that the lock of hair inside Ned’s wallet matches Lauren’s. She assumes that it means Ned still has feelings for his dad’s fiancée, and she treats him coldly. Elly also air her suspicions to Brad, who tells Lauren about it. Backed into a corner, Ned tells them about a story of another woman he was seeing before returning to Erinsborough. Brad and Lauren seem to buy it, but Elly does not.

Meanwhile, spoilers also hint that Amy devises a plan to get another copy of the hotel camera footage, which could support Xanthe’s testimony about her assault. However, things don’t go as planned and Ryan catches her.

“Neighbours” recap

On Thursday, Terese and Madison checked each room at Lassiters for hidden cameras. Terese was devastated when she discovered one, proving that Tom’s theory was right. Terese immediately reckoned that Paul’s behind this move, in his continued sabotage attempts. Terese wasted no time confronting Paul in front of Steph. Paul warned Terese to be careful about her false accusations, and threatened her that he could leak this story out to the press.

Meanwhile, Madison and Aaron briefed Rhonda Riley about that night’s performance. Rhonda acted like a diva and cited all her demands. Later, Paul showed up at Rhonda’s door and showered her with compliments. The two hit it off as they shared drinks at her room. He invited her to perform at Robinson’s and talked bad about Terese and Lassiters. Paul tried to convince Rhonda to miss her gig later, but she said all they could do is delay it.

When Aaron knocked at Rhonda’s door to fetch her for sound check, she didn’t answer. He became worried and told Madison and Terese about it. Minutes before her performance, Rhonda was still a no-show, stressing Terese out. To address the problem, Aaron resorted to Plan B and urged Madison to do the front act while he continued searching for Rhonda. Madison refused at first, but seeing they’re left with no choice, she agreed. Fortunately, she nailed her performance and the guests loved her. When Rhonda finally appeared with Paul, she was shocked to see the young woman taking over the stage. She assumed Paul deliberately did it and walked off. While Madison was performing, Paul and Terese locked eyes and shared a warm moment.

Later, Aaron, Steph and Amy toasted on Madison’s successful singing debut. Once they were alone, Amy told Madison that Paul wants to reconnect with her. Madison didn’t want to hear about it, and revealed to Amy about the hidden cameras, as well as Terese’s theory that Paul was responsible. Amy reckoned it’s not Paul – she believed it’s Ryan Prescott, her former boss and the Lassiters’ current cleaning contractor. Amy went to Terese’s office to tell her and walked in on Terese reviewing the footage. Just as when it was showing what happened between Cooper and Xanthe, Terese pulled the USB out and smashed it, not knowing that she just destroyed the one evidence that could help Xanthe’s case.

Meawnwhile, Ned felt awkward when Lauren and Brad caught him making out with Elly. Brad felt happy for his son, seeing that he’s moved on from his fixation with Lauren. Brad invited Ned and Elly for dinner, despite Lauren’s hesitations. When Ned informed Elly about it, she thought it was weird at first but agreed a little bit later. Later, Lauren opened up to Steph about Elly, saying that there’s something off with the brunette beauty. Steph agreed, claiming that Elly reeks of trouble.

At Harold’s, Lauren and Brad went on to their dinner date with Ned and Elly. Despite her efforts to make small talk, Elly kept on saying offensive things to Lauren. After the disastrous dinner, Elly and Ned agreed to take things slow at first. Later, when Elly went to the kitchen to get snacks, she spotted Ned’s wallet and couldn’t help but take a peek. Inside his wallet, she saw a lock of blonde hair.
