'The Young and the Restless' (YR) spoilers for July 22: Victor struggles for freedom, Phyllis loses her cool, Chelsea gets vengeful

Fans of “The Young and the Restless” are in for a real treat in the July 22, 2016 episode as the drama is about to be taken a notch higher.

The episode of the long running series “The Young and the Restless,” airing on Friday, will get a little feisty as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fights to get his freedom, which he really believes he deserves. The tension surrounding Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) gets worse as she loses her temper. Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), on the other hand, just cannot forgive and wants revenge.

The episode spoiler in a post by She Knows Soaps reveals very little, although it would be quite enough to show what can happen next, considering the chain of events from within the week. The post only says that Victor fights to get his freedom, Phyllis loses her temper and Chelsea wants revenge.

More details are teased in TV Source Magazine. There, it is said that Terrence Tilford will appear as Dr. Barton Shelby.

A gallery of pictures shows a lot of dramatic scenes, which are in line with or could be from Thursday’s episode. The pictures show heated moments in a courtroom, some of them probably from scenes where Victor struggles in his legal battle to free himself. There are also numerous confrontations with heavy dramatic expressions which probably give out a sneak peak as to how Phyllis explodes in anger and Chelsea’s decision to fight back.

The audience is about to be taken on a roller coaster ride as intense as the show had for these past few days as it delves into the puzzling situation of Phyllis, the intense legal battles and a whole lot more.
