"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) touches new heights of drama with the episode airing on Jan 8, 2015. The show will feature some dramatic yet entertaining moments. The upcoming segment focuses on some popular characters of the show including Nikki, Victor, Lauren, Michael and more. The last-aired episode opened with some drama between Dylan and Avery. While Dylan prepared for the protest, Avery dropped a bombshell on him. Avery told Dylan that she wants to get married to him immediately. Initially, Dylan doesn't take this too well. He believed it could be Joe and his recent visit to Avery that influenced Avery's decision. Later, however, he agreed to get married.

Elsewhere, Jill confronts Victor about supporting Joe Clark for his project and warned him that by supporting Joe he will be standing against his wife Nikki. Meanwhile, Dylan approached Kevin in order to find out who owns Gerolomo, the holding company that is encouraging and supporting Joe Clark in bringing down Dylan's coffee shop. Using his skills, Kevin found out that the said company is owned by Victor Newman, who is secretly backing Joe Clark.

Summer discussed her future with Jack. She revealed that she wants to get back to school and be capable of earning a job on her merit at Jabot.

Meanwhile, Phyllis sets her plan in action. Phyllis tricked Kelly by sending a message to her using Jack's phone. Kelly, who assumed it was Jack who wanted to see her, was very excited to see him and rushed to his office. However, to her surprise, she was welcomed by Phyllis. The two ladies end up in a heated argument and accused each other of being desperate for Jack. Phyllis tried to threaten Kelly. In turn, she called her a "monster." Phyllis' plan backfired when Jack entered the office and Kelly accused Phyllis of hitting her. When Kelly revealed that how Phyllis used his phone to call her to the office, it became difficult for Phyllis to convince Jack that she did not hit Kelly. Towards the end of the episode, Mariah visited Cassie's grave.

Moving on to the Jan 8 episode of "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R), TV Guide and We Love Soaps has presented descriptions teasing exciting spoilers about it. According to the media report, Nikki finally confronts Victor when she finds out he is supporting Joe Clark in redevelopment project. She is clearly very hurt when she finds out that Victor has been lying to her and is responsible behind bringing down Dylan's business.

Furthermore, the episode will see Jill and Cane take the next step in their mission to bring down Victor Newman. The two "join forces" in order to succeed. Meanwhile, the doctor will reveal that Michael's cancer has reached stage three and Lauren pushes him to begin treatment. But will he agree? Joe and Dylan get into another major confrontation which turns physical. Where things go from here remains to be seen. "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) Jan 8 episode airs 12:30 pm on CBS.
