USA Network's "White Collar" has been about the evolution of Neal Caffrey and the bonding of a criminal informant with his handler. Today's Neal is different from the Neal of the past. This Neal is working to get his freedom, not stealing it. It is the freedom that is likely to come at a cost. There is much speculation about how "White Collar" is going to end. Matt Bomer, who plays Neal Caffrey, has hinted that the viewers will not get to see an ending, which ties up everything into a nice, little bow. It will be open to multiple interpretations.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Community, Jeff Eastin, showrunner of "White Collar," has said that "White Collar" final episode contains a lot of "callbacks that will remind people of why they originally fell in love with Neal, Peter and Mozzie." He also said that the entire series has been about Neal trying to discover who he is really. In the final episode of "White Collar," there is a "great moment" between Neal and his adversary Keller, according to Eastin. Their friendship will play out in this scene.

Also, Eastin hinted that someone is likely to die in the "White Collar" series finale. He said that Neal will be making a choice in the final episode. This choice is not about Neal and Mozzie pulling off a heist and Neal finally settling down. When EW Community asked Eastin if someone is going to die, the show-runner said, "you'll have to watch it." He hopes that they are forgiven for the third choice that they have picked up for the series finale.

The open ending of "White Collar" Series Finale opens the door for a movie version, either made for the big screen or TV. Bomer and Tim DeKay, who plays Peter in the show, have said that there has been no talk about a "White Collar" movie, but if something comes up, they would not say no.

In an interview with TV Line, DeKay said that in the past, he would have not seen a "White Collar" movie happening. However, "Veronica Mars," which released on March 14, 2014, has broken the mould and now he does not completely rule out the possibility of a movie version. He told TV Line, "I certainly would entertain that possibility, but right now, there aren't any plans to have a movie." And, Bomer said to TV Line that he would "definitely want to do it just to get the chance to work with Tim and Willie and Marsha and Sharif and Tiffani again."
