‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5: Ross Marquand Talks About Aaron And Eric’s Kiss Plus Trust Issues With Rick

Aaron from the community met the survivors and urged them to come with him to the safe-zone. However, it was not easy for him to convince Rick Grimes. “The Walking Dead” Season 5, Episode 12 will see Rick Grimes and his team in the safe-zone.

AMC talked to Ross Marquand about Aaron’s kiss with Eric and more. He was asked if he was surprised to see the gay couple kissing scene in the script.

“Not at all. Robert [Kirkman] doesn’t shy away from that in the comics, which is great because I think it should be as natural as any other kiss on the show. It’s a passionate kiss, but we wanted it to be about the relationship,” Marquand said to AMC.

The actor added that Eric and Aaron’s relationship is like “a relationship between two individuals who love each other very much.” They are happy that they are together after a long time. He also mentioned that both the actors felt responsible and attempted to do the scene respectfully.

When Marquand was asked about Rick having trust issues, he stated that it would be tough for Rick to trust someone because of what happened to them. Rick’s team has suffered a lot and in the past they trusted people only to be betrayed by them.

Marquand also talks about his character’s neat looks. He said that people are noticing that Aaron is quite clean in terms of appearance.

“He’s that affable, Boy Scout type. People will make their own decision on whether or not they can trust him. I think he tries to do the right thing.”

Meanwhile, in the new “The Walking Dead” episode, Rick and others are inside Alexandria Safe-Zone and they meet the community members. “The Walking Dead” Season 5, Episode 12, “Remember” airs Sunday, March 1, 2015 on AMC.
