Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) are on a mission to rescue Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) in Season 5, Episode 6 - "Consumed." The promo shows Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) going out while Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) stays back. Perhaps, papa Grimes is out for a supply run or something. One of the scenes shows, Rick making a plan. In the next scene, Carol is sleeping in hospital and Beth looks at her. She holds Carol's hand.

Daryl kills something with a rod. A police vehicle is chasing Noah. The promo ends with the female police officer looking at Beth. Where is Michonne (Danai Gurira)?

Synopsis for "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 7, "Crossed"

AMC shared the synopsis of the upcoming episode.

"The group is spread thin with some members holding down the church and the others on a rescue mission."

It looks like the rescue mission group focused on bringing back Beth and Carol who are in the hospital. In "The Walking Dead" Season 5, Episode 6, Carol is hit by a car and taken to the hospital. Also, Noah comes to the church with Daryl as he might become a part of Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) survivor group.

It is not clear from the synopsis that who all are staying back at the church.
