Jordan Smith has been crowned the winner of “The Voice” Season 9. The show came to a closure with its “Live Finale, Part 2,” episode on Tuesday and Jordan Smith lifted the coveted trophy.

Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams adorned the big chair on “The Voice” Season 9 for one last time and the stage was taken over by special guests, including Justin Bieber, Coldplay, The Weekend and Missy Elliott.

The 26-episode series had Jeffery Austin (Team Gwen), Barrett Baber (Team Blake), Emily Ann Roberts (Team Blake) and Jordan Smith (Team Adam) as the finalists. The cut-throat competition witnessed the hopefuls giving their best in the finale.

The curtain raiser performance was delivered by the top 24 contenders of the show on “Lean On.” The very-well synchronized performance formed a perfect start for the finale episode. Next up on the stage was Barrett Baber who performed a duet with Zach Seabaugh on “Forever and Ever Amen” by Randy Travis.

Guest star Coldplay then took to the stage to perform their new single “Adventure of a Lifetime.” Next finalist on the stage was Emily Ann Roberts who performed a duet with country legend Ricky Scaggs on “Country Boy”. The audience and judges were visibly berserk on the performance.

Jordan Smith performed a duet with Usher on his hit track “Without You.” It was then that the viewers got glimpse of a star in the making. Pop artist Justin Bieber too took to the stage to perform his hit “Sorry.”

Host Carson Daly then brings the Top 4 contenders on to the stage and declared Jeffery Austin from Team Gwen to be the first contender to be evicted from the list of hopeful. Jeffery finishes fourth on the show. Barrett Baber from Team Blake secured third position on the show. Emily Ann Roberts from Team Blake was announced the runner-up.

Jordan Smith’s victory made Adam Levine the winning coach of “The Voice” Season 9.
